I took my purebred Arabian mare, Secret, to Cindy for a month of training and to work on selling her. Secret had a good start on her under saddle but still needed some finishing touches. Cindy did lots of desensitizing work with Secret to get her more used to things. She also worked with Secret on bending and encouraging her to relax under saddle. After only a month of being in Cindy’s care, Secret really transformed, she became much more relaxed on the ground, as well as with tack. For instance, one day when we went to visit Secret, Cindy hoisted a big western saddle on to Secret’s back and she didn’t even flinch. Prior to going to Cindy’s Secret minded just when I would put my light English saddle on her back, she’d fidget around in the cross ties and just simply wouldn’t stand still. Cindy did a great job helping Secret to learn how to relax and stand quietly to be saddled, as well as further developing her canter work and teaching her to bend and give to the bit. She was always patient with Secret and did an excellent job keeping me updated on her progress she sent pictures and videos often to ensure my girl was doing well. Cindy also helped me to find Secret a perfect home, one in which I know Secret will receive lots of love and be spoiled. Most importantly, Cindy was so friendly, laid back, and outgoing which is sometimes so difficult to find with horse people. I highly recommend Cindy to anyone looking for a trainer for either themselves or their horse. She is very knowledgeable with horses and just an all-around pleasant and professional person to be around and work with.
